Starting your first trip with Beam is easy. Here's where you can learn more about the steps towards your first trip with Beam, and other freebies that might be available for you!
Download the Beam app and get ready
First, download the Beam app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
Launch the app and proceed to sign up.
You will be prompted to register your payment method and turn on your Bluetooth (both are required in order to start a trip).
Now you’re ready for your first ride!
Things you can do before you start your first trip
Visit Beam Safe Academy to learn more about the rules for riding a Beam vehicle, Beam Safe Academy is available on our website, as well as in the app via "Menu" > "Beam safe academy".
Visit "Riding guide" in the app to learn how to ride.
You can find the "Riding guide" via "Menu" > "Riding guide".
Complete the "Beam Safety Quiz" in the app that rewards Beam Credits when you ace it!
You can find the "Beam Safety Quiz" via "Menu" > "Beam safe academy".
Claim a referral code from your friend or family who has used Beam before, to get some free Beam credits that can be used to pay for your trip fares.
To claim a referral code, simply go to the Beam app, then go to "Payments" > "Add credit code/gift card" to enter and claim it.
Please note that the "Beam Safety Quiz" program, and the referral program may not be available in your area.
